Joel was born, raised and learned to cut hair in Seattle, Washington. He worked for Rudy's Barbershop in Seattle for over ten years. In 2012, he moved to the Marysville area in order to work alongside Jay Tower and help expand Marysville's finest barbershop.

Jay was born, raised and received his barbering education in Billings, Montana. He moved to Washington State in the early 90's and began cutting hair in a small barbershop. In 2001, he opened Jay's Barbershop in Marysville and has been dominating ever since.
